Which Worcester Bosch boiler is best for you?
Find the right boiler for you with our quick guide.
Worcester Bosch combi boilers.
Great if you live in a smaller home. They don’t need a separate hot water cylinder or cold water storage tank, so they could easily fit into a cupboard and don’t take up any of your valuable space under the stairs or in the loft.
Worcester Bosch regular boilers.
If you often use hot water around your home, then a regular - or “condensing” - boiler is probably best for you. They can take up more room than a combi as they often come with a cold water tank as a kind of back up but you’ll have a plentiful supply of water ready to be heated regardless of water pressure or any other issues.
Worcester Bosch system boilers.
Does your home have more than one bathroom? Then a Worcester Bosch system boiler is a good choice. They’re like a condensing boiler but with a large tank for storing extra hot water. Again, they take up more room than a combi boiler, but you have a constant supply throughout your home when you need it.
Efficient heating with a smart thermostat.
The Bosch EasyControl smart thermostat puts you in charge of your heating and hot water. Both the wall mounted unit and the app that goes with it have an intuitive, sleek design that are a pleasure to use.
And thanks to the app, you can adjust your settings inside and out of your home.
Which means, you can…
Warm your home before getting home.
Adjust the settings if you go out and leave the heating on.
Create a heating schedule to precisely match your busy life.
But the EasyControl isn’t just about giving you control. It also learns your routines and adapts your heating to match.
And it can even tell when you’ve left home then adjust your heating, saving you money.

Get help with your Worcester Bosch boiler troubleshooting.
Having trouble with your water pressure? See an error code or fault code on your Worcester Bosch boiler? These fault codes generally begin with the letters EA and are displayed on the boiler’s digital interface. Here are what some of the error codes mean:
Fault code EA 229 - Blocked condensate pipe.
When the EA229 fault code is displayed, it means that the condensate pipe in your Worcester Bosch boiler is blocked. You’ll find a condensate pipe in any more condensing boilers and it’s used to transport waste.
Sometimes condensate pipes can freeze, which you can solve by pouring warm water over them or getting a Gas Safe engineer to help.
Fault code EA338 - Boiler leaking water.
If you see the fault code EA338 (or sometimes EA281), then you may have a hole in the pipework or a broken seal. You’ll need to call a Gas Safe engineer who will be able to tell you whether you need something repaired or a replacement part.
Fault code E5218 - Boiler overheating.
If you see the fault code E5218, E5332, E9219 or E9224 then it could be because your Worcester Bosch boiler is overheating. It could be due to a faulty central heating pump, blocked condensate pipe or problems with the heat exchanger.
You’ll need to call a Gas Safe professional to review and fix the problem.
If you see a different error code or want to troubleshoot an issue with your Greenstar boiler, Worcester Bosch offers an online troubleshooting tool as well as some handy Greenstar boiler checks you can do.
