Driving sustainability together.
What is Extreme E racing?
Extreme E is a racing series that takes electric power to a whole new level. It pushes the limits of what an EV can do, combining all the thrills of high-speed racing with a powerful message of sustainability.
Each race is held in a part of the world that has been damaged by the climate crisis. The goal? Promoting sustainable practices, supporting local communities, and driving change on a global scale.
And if that wasn’t enough, Extreme E is championing gender diversity in racing. Every Extreme E team has one female and one male driver for each adrenaline-fueled race.
What is Veloce?
The organisation (Veloce Racing) was co-founded by legendary Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey, as ‘lead visionary’ alongside Formula E Champion and ex-Formula 1 driver Jean-Éric Vergne and four other young motorsport entrepreneurs.
E.ON Next and Veloce.
In partnering with Veloce, we look forward to celebrating the real excitement people can experience in the switch to lower carbon motoring. As we move towards a zero carbon world, this partnership is a chance to raise the profile of electric vehicles, as the teams push the technology to new limits. Both E.ON Next and Veloce share many common values, including a commitment to sustainability, acting on climate change, as well as increasing the diversity across our industries.
Championing gender equality in motorsport.
Embracing gender equality isn't just about fairness, it's also about unlocking the full potential of the sport. By providing equal opportunities and breaking down barriers, we strive to create a more inclusive and dynamic motorsport landscape that benefits everyone, from drivers and teams to fans and the sport itself.
Driving towards better.
Getting people excited about switching to lower carbon motoring is a key part of the journey to a zero-carbon world. Extreme E, Veloce Racing, and the all-electric off-road series are proving that EVs have the grunt to go with the green credentials.
At E.ON Next, our mission is to make sustainable energy and home energy tech available for everyone – it’s why we offer our Next Drive EV tariff and EV chargers to customers across the UK.
